We've always thought the best way to start a new week is to finish the old one well.

For us, that means Sunday is a reset—but we don't want it to feel like another workday.

The goal isn't to spend twelve hours optimizing life or checking things off a perfectly organized list. It's simply to get the house back in order, take care of the things we know will make Monday easier and then actually **enjoy Sunday evening**.

Our idea of a good reset starts with the home, moves on to taking care of ourselves and ends somewhere around good food, a candle and a little time to relax.

Here's what that looks like.

## START WITH THE HOUSE

We find it incredibly difficult to feel settled when our surroundings feel chaotic.

So the first part of our Sunday reset is always getting the house back to baseline.

Laundry finished. Clothes put away. Kitchen cleaned. Dishwasher emptied. Trash taken out. Bathroom reset. Sheets changed if they need it.

Nothing revolutionary.

Just all of those little things that somehow make Monday morning feel significantly more manageable.

We don't think your house needs to look perfect.

It just needs to feel **clean enough that you're not waking up on Monday already behind.**

## RESTOCK THE KITCHEN

An empty refrigerator on Sunday night almost guarantees an annoying Monday.

We like having groceries in the house and at least a general idea of what we're going to eat during the week.

That doesn't mean spending Sunday meal-prepping every meal in matching glass containers.

For us, it's more about making sure the basics are there.

Fresh fruit. Vegetables. Something easy for breakfast. A few proteins. Coffee. Whatever we know we'll actually eat.

Maybe something is washed or chopped ahead of time.

The goal is simply to remove that Monday morning realization that there is absolutely nothing in the house.

## LOOK AT THE WEEK ONCE

Once the house feels settled, we like to know what's coming.

Meetings. Appointments. Plans. Anything that requires preparation.

We're not interested in scheduling every hour of the week before it begins. We simply don't like being unnecessarily surprised by something we could have remembered on Sunday.

**Notice what matters most.**

Then leave some room for life to happen.

## DO ONE THING MONDAY-YOU WILL APPRECIATE

Maybe it's choosing your outfit.

Maybe it's packing your bag.

Maybe it's filling your water bottle and putting it in the refrigerator.

Maybe it's washing your hair so you don't have to think about it in the morning.

It doesn't need to be impressive.

It just needs to make tomorrow slightly easier.

## THEN RESET YOURSELF

This is where Sunday stops being about chores.

Once everything around us feels clean and settled, we want the rest of the evening to feel like a reward.

For us, that means an **everything shower**.

Hair mask. Shave. Exfoliate. Skincare. Body lotion. Whatever beauty routine makes you feel like you've officially washed off the previous week.

Fresh pajamas afterward are non-negotiable.

There's something about being completely clean in a completely clean home that makes life feel unusually under control—even if it isn't.

## MAKE SUNDAY NIGHT FEEL GOOD

This might actually be the most important part.

Put on some soothing jazz.

Light a candle.

Cook something delicious.

**Pour yourself a drink or make a warm cup of tea.**

Dim the lights.

And enjoy the home you just spent time taking care of.

We don't want Sunday evening to feel like we're sitting around waiting for Monday to ruin the weekend.

We want it to feel like its own little ritual.

A good dinner. A clean kitchen. Warm lighting. Nowhere else you need to be.

That's the reset.

## THE CET TAKEAWAY

The Sunday reset isn't about squeezing one more productive day out of the week.

It's about creating a little order so you can actually relax.

Reset the house.

Restock what you need.

Look at the week.

Take care of yourself.

**Then light the candle, turn down the lights and let yourself enjoy the fact that everything is done.**

Monday will come either way.

**You might as well meet it rested.**
